In the heart of Medina, Ohio, there’s a place where meals are free, kindness is abundant, and everyone, no matter their story is welcomed with open arms. That place is Cups Cafe.
Founded in 2008, Cups Cafe is a faith-informed 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering free meals, essential supplies, and a safe, welcoming space for youth and adults alike. There are no costs, no conditions, and no judgment, just compassion, conversation, and connection.
More Than a Meal
Cups Cafe serves over 21,000 free meals annually, but their impact goes far beyond food. After school, the cafe transforms into a safe haven for middle and high school students, offering tutoring, mentorship, and a place to simply be. Seniors stop by for a warm hug. A young woman with special needs visits after her shift. Families facing financial strain find comfort and dignity. And individuals experiencing homelessness find not just nourishment, but community.
